Dr. Mary Uhl
Owner & DVM
Dr. Mary Uhl is a proud Holmes County native and the owner of Wolf Creek Veterinary Services. She graduated from West Holmes High School in 1981 and Adrian College in 1985 with a Bachelor of Science in Biology and a minor in Chemistry. Dr. Uhl’s diverse background includes two years in Ghana, West Africa as a Peace Corps volunteer, subcontracting to NOAH, and working on dairy and beef operations for a year and a half before attending The Ohio State University. She graduated as a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine in 1994.
In her spare time, Dr. Uhl and her husband enjoy spending time with their adult daughters. They raise beef cattle and Katahdin sheep on their farm, which keeps them quite busy. Additionally, she enjoys taking side-by-side trips over their hills and around their beautiful neighborhood.

Dr. Courtney Baker is a dedicated veterinarian at Wolf Creek Veterinary Services. A graduate of West Holmes High School, Courtney originally joined Wolf Creek as a veterinary assistant in 2017. She went on to earn a Bachelor of Science in Animal Science from The Ohio State University in 2020 and recently graduated with her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from The Ohio State University in May 2024.
Courtney currently resides in Wayne County and is looking forward to her upcoming wedding this fall to Dr. John Gilson, another 2024 graduate of Ohio State.

She received her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) from The Ohio State University College of Veterinary Medicine in 2024, following her undergraduate studies in Animal Science at Ohio State.

Kari Sparling is the dedicated Team Supervisor at Wolf Creek Veterinary Services. She graduated from the University of Findlay with a Bachelor of Science and a minor in Chemistry, where she also played softball. Kari enjoys coaching softball and training her Golden Retriever, Brutus, to compete in AKC Agility.
Kari brings 9-10 years of experience at Wolf Creek Veterinary Services, along with several additional years working alongside her father at other practices in the area. Her extensive background and dedication make her an invaluable part of our team.

Kelly Hahn is the dedicated Bookkeeper at Wolf Creek Veterinary Services, bringing several years of experience as a receptionist and veterinary assistant. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Animal Science and has recently rejoined the veterinary field, applying her extensive knowledge and passion for animal care to her role.
Married to Evan, Kelly cherishes their two daughters and enjoys a vibrant family life centered around their small niche farm. The farm is home to cattle, pigs, chickens, and their two chocolate labs, Annie and Jessie, as well as two cats. Kelly’s love for the outdoors is evident in her hobbies, which include hiking, kayaking, and working with animals. She especially enjoys assisting her daughter with showing steers and pigs.
Kelly’s lifelong passion for animals has driven her career and education, focusing on the health and wellbeing of all creatures, great and small. Despite recently starting at Wolf Creek Veterinary Services, her wealth of prior experience enriches everything she does for the clinic.

Laken Miller is a dedicated Receptionist at Wolf Creek Veterinary Services, bringing a wealth of HR and reception experience from her previous roles in the area. Her love for animals and helping people inspired her to join the veterinary field, where she can assist both pets and their owners.
Laken enjoys an active lifestyle with hobbies including camping, hiking, golfing, and even gold-mining. Her pets are a big part of her life, with two dogs, Milo and Otis, who are always by her side, a cat named Cleo who reigns as the queen of the house, and four birds: Perky, Thor, Greta, and Freya.

Zack
Assistant
Zack Wigton is a recent 2024 graduate from Mount Vernon Nazarene University, where he earned a Bachelor of Science degree. Although he recently joined Wolf Creek Veterinary Services, Zack brings three years of valuable experience from Westerville Veterinary Clinic. With plans to further his education, Zack is currently applying to Veterinary School to continue his pursuit of excellence in veterinary medicine.
Inspired by his love for animals, science, and people, Zack has developed expertise in phlebotomy and client communication. He excels in discussing treatment plans with clients, addressing their concerns, and providing guidance on managing chronic diseases and preventative care.
At home, Zack enjoys caring for his diverse menagerie, which includes a plethora of chickens that provide more than a dozen eggs daily. He also owns four snakes, two tortoises, and three beloved dogs: Millie, an English Bulldog who loves to snuggle; Phoebe, a Bernese Mountain Dog who is super sweet despite her large size; and Tinkerbelle, a Yorkie mix who enjoys chasing and harassing the chickens.

Assistant
Tori Perry is a dedicated Veterinary Assistant who graduated from West Holmes High School in 2022. With a lifelong love for animals, Tori has always been passionate about providing the best care for pets.
In her free time, Tori enjoys playing Dungeons & Dragons and participating in karate classes at a local dojo. Her enthusiasm for learning and dedication to her hobbies reflect her commitment to excellence in all areas of her life.
Tori shares her home with a variety of pets, including dogs Snickers and Cheddar, cats Sylvie, Patches, Goose, and Hank, and birds Echo, Mal, and Zuko. Snickers, in particular, has learned many trick performances with Tori, and together they have even performed at the local high school talent show where Snickers stole the spotlight!

Sarah Hershberger is a dedicated Veterinary Assistant currently finishing her senior year at Hiland High School through a work release program. With a year of experience at Wolf Creek Veterinary Services, Sarah has demonstrated her commitment to providing quality care and making both pets and their owners feel comfortable during their visits.
In her free time, Sarah enjoys showing her horse, Jolene, at the Wayne County Fair and participating in local barrel races. She loves the dynamic environment of the clinic, where each day brings new challenges and learning opportunities.
Sarah’s expertise lies in delivering excellent care and educating clients on the importance of preventative medicine. Her hard work and dedication to veterinary medicine are evident in her compassionate approach and eagerness to learn.
At home, Sarah cares for her cats, Nissa and Stewy. Stewy, a stray she adopted when his mother abandoned him at a week old, is a testament to her love for animals. She also has a Golden Retriever named Bailey, who enjoys playing fetch in the pond.

Allison graduated from the University of Findlay in May 2024 with a Bachelor of Science, minoring in Biology and Chemistry. She will be attending Colorado State University Vet School starting in the Fall of 2024.
A dedicated animal lover, Allison has always been surrounded by pets and has a deep passion for working with both animals and people. This love for animals has inspired Allison to pursue a career in veterinary medicine.
In addition to their academic achievements, Allison is actively involved in training service dogs for the 4Paws for Ability Association,as well as an amateur bodybuilder, demonstrating her commitment to discipline and hard work in all areas of life.
At home, Allison cares for a Goldendoodle named Ireland and an Albino Axolotl named Heivar.

Kennel Assistant
Kendra Cool is a compassionate Kennel Assistant at Wolf Creek Veterinary Services who loves spending time with her family and walking on the trail. She has two cats, Milo and Kovie, and a dog named Smokey. Milo loves greeting people and is a big love bug, while Smokey enjoys playing fetch. Kendra has always had a deep love for animals, knowing from an early age that she wanted to pursue a career in veterinary medicine.
Although Kendra recently started at Wolf Creek Veterinary Services, she is dedicated to ensuring that your pet’s needs are met, whether they are staying overnight or boarding for the weekend. She is the person who makes sure your pets are well taken care of and comfortable during their stay.

Kennel Assistant
Torrie Savage is a dedicated Kennel Assistant at Wolf Creek Veterinary Services. She graduated from West Holmes High School in May 2024 and is taking a gap year before pursuing college or other educational certifications. Torrie has always loved animals and has been passionate about working with them for a long time, which inspired her to try veterinary medicine.
Torrie enjoys sending cards and writing letters, as well as exploring abandoned places, and she welcomes recommendations for new spots to explore. At home, she cares for two dogs, Chris and Mitzi, a barn cat named Patrick, and a pet sheep named Jersey, who follows her everywhere, even into the house on occasion.

Sabryn Cutlip is a dedicated Veterinary Assistant with four years of experience at Wolf Creek Veterinary Services. Currently studying to become a Veterinary Technician, Sabryn combines her love for animals with a passion for the ever-evolving field of veterinary medicine. She thrives on the continuous learning and variety that each day in veterinary care brings.
Sabryn and her fiancé recently purchased a new home in the area, complete with a large yard perfect for their dogs—Charlie, Gigi, Rosaliee, and Kato—and ample space for their cats, Poptart and Baby. In her free time, Sabryn enjoys reading and spending quality time with her pets.
With a strong focus on client communication and experience, Sabryn excels at ensuring that pet owners’ concerns are heard and addressed. Her commitment to making every veterinary visit a positive experience shines through in her work.
